What a Person Deserves (Raw & Uncut)

A person deserves to be held
in the kind of love that breathes,
quiet but steady,
not painted for an audience
or spoken only for effect,
but lived in the small gestures
that ask for nothing in return.

They deserve a tenderness
that lingers through ordinary days,
care that arrives unannounced,
a steady hand
when the weight of the world
presses too hard against their shoulders.

They deserve compassion
that sees past the surface,
that notices the cracks
without pulling away,
that listens long enough
to understand the story beneath the silence.

They deserve respect
that never falters,
not because it is earned in a moment,
but because their humanity
makes it inherent,
undeniable, unshakable.

They deserve devotion
that does not wither
when things grow heavy or uncertain,
a loyalty deep enough
to anchor them
when the storms of life rise up.

They deserve love
that is not performance,
but presence—
the kind that does not need
to be shouted to the world,
because it is already written
in every glance,
every touch,
every act of showing up.

Because in the end,
every person deserves to be met fully,
not with shallow echoes,
but with a love
that is felt—
deep, unrelenting,
and real.
