Today isn’t a great day.
I’m in my head more than I want to be.
It was just a post—someone else’s words—but they stuck. Lit something in me I wish hadn’t sparked. Now my mind won’t shut up, spinning stories I can’t fact-check but feel too deeply anyway.
I start wondering if I’m just a pause, a filler, a space held warm until something else—someone else—falls into place.
It doesn’t make sense.
There’s been no lie. No shift. No change in tone or touch.
But the fear whispers anyway.
I hate that I do this.
Hate how easily I unravel over nothing more than a gut feeling with no ground beneath it.
But here I am.
Trying to quiet what won’t be quiet.
Trying not to let shadows feel like truth.
